Adult Upgrading
The courses offered are equivalency courses following
the curriculum for subjects under the Alberta Learning High School
Division. Successful completion of these courses allows students
to continue on with either educational or employment goals.
The Hinton site has two semesters each year. September
- January, and January - June. We employ four teaching staff who
are most flexible and understanding of student needs.
Also, the site offers on-line computer courses from NorQuest in
Edmonton for students wishing to take classes not offered locally,
e.g. Physics 30.
We place the emphasis on academic learning, with
activities such as a Christmas luncheon, a year end field trip,
and a graduation luncheon for our closing ceremonies.
